About Location Feasibility Assessment:
The Location Feasibility Assessment Tool is designed to help businesses and strategy teams evaluate and compare potential global locations for setting up operations or Global Capability Centers (GCCs). It scores each location using custom weightings across five critical factors: Talent Availability, Cost Efficiency, Infrastructure, Regulatory Environment, and Risk Profile.
Upon calculation, the tool provides a ranked list of locations with total feasibility scores, helping decision-makers prioritize the best-fit options.
How to Read the Bubble Chart
- Each bubble = a location
Represents one of the entered locations (e.g., Location A, B, C). - Y-axis = Total Score
Higher on the vertical axis means the location has a better overall feasibility score (based on weights + criteria). - X-axis = Location Index
This is simply the row order:- Location A → X = 1
- Location B → X = 2
- Location C → X = 3
- Bubble Size = Cost Score
Larger bubbles indicate a higher cost value for that location.
Since higher cost often implies lower cost-efficiency, this is useful for visual comparison. - Bubble Color = Location
- Blue, pink, and green are used for different locations to easily distinguish them.
