MODEC Toyo – Bengaluru GCC to Hire 750 Engineers by 2028

MODEC, Inc. and Toyo Engineering have inaugurated a 100,000 sq ft Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru under their joint venture TOYO MODEC OFS India Pvt. Ltd. Launched on June 13, 2025, the hub begins with nearly 200 engineers and procurement staff, with plans to expand to 750 professionals by 2028. The GCC will focus on offshore engineering solutions, supporting Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) projects worldwide. Positioned in Bengaluru’s Godrej Centre at Indiranagar, the facility strengthens MODEC’s offshore production capacity while leveraging India’s skilled workforce. Executives highlighted the city’s innovation ecosystem and India’s role as a global delivery base.
